How to help local businesses recover from Storm Emma

This week, while those working in tech haphazardly adapted to remote working, a greater challenge emerged for small independent hospitality brands.

Many local eateries were forced to close their doors, causing an unexpected dip in revenue that could have serious knock on effects.

At Jobbio, we value all our customers equally. From the huge hospitality brands in London, to the local burger joint in Sandymount, we’ve built a network of customers that we appreciate, respect and admire.

We want to see all businesses on Jobbio thrive and we believe that going the extra mile to support them in all conditions is a no brainer.

The Lovin’ Media Brand have called for locals and businesses to support independent hospitality brands this weekend and we’re fully in support. Our Jobbions will be out and about supporting our customers (not that they ever need much of an excuse).

Help us help them.

Here are some remarkable establishments to get out and support.

BuJo

If you haven’t already, do yourself a serious favour and get to BuJo in Sandymount. Their chargrilled burgers and hand cut fries are the warm antidote to 2018’s big chill.

The local eatery has secured the ultimate nod this year with a Michelin Bib Gourmand. Craft lost power due to the storm and will have to remain closed for the rest of this week to make sure things are up to the excellent standard of service they like to deliver to their customers. They will need the support of the Harold’s cross community in coming weeks.
