Guys, these free online courses are brilliant!

So, we’re all spending a lot more time indoors at the moment, right? As a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, we have been asked to stay inside as much as possible, and also to limit social interaction.

Obviously this is a necessary evil for the time being, so let’s take the opportunity to do something valuable with it. We have seen a lot of people doing their home workouts, cleaning out their wardrobes and cooking incredible meals. However, if none of that appeals to you (fair enough), why not try a free online course? 

There are literally thousands of incredible courses available on the internet, that will help you pass the time, while also up-skilling in some form. And so, I scanned the Internet for you, and identified five of the most interesting free online courses available, however, there are so many others open to you too.

Class Central, A Life of Happiness and Fulfilment.

This course, based on the award-winning class offered both at the Indian School of Business and at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, developed by Prof. Raj Raghunathan (aka “Dr. Happy-smarts”) draws content from a variety of fields, including psychology, neuroscience, and behavioural decision theory to offer a tested and practical recipe for leading a life of happiness and fulfilment.

Google Digital Garage, The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing.

Master the basics of digital marketing with this free Interactive Advertising Bureau-accredited course. There are 26 modules to explore, all created by Google trainers, packed full of practical exercises and real-world examples to help you turn knowledge into action. This course should take you about 40 hours to complete, with a test at the end. Provided you pass the test (you got this!) you will be IAB-accredited and you will receive a recognition certificate.

Future Learn by Trinity College, Exercise Prescription for the Prevention and Treatment of Disease.

In the last few decades physical exercise has become well established as a tool to prevent and treat disease. Perceptions within the healthcare sector of exercise and its prescription as a treatment have changed dramatically in recent years.
