The Canadian job market has changed a lot in the last 12 months as a direct result of COVID-19. Hundreds of thousands of people lost their jobs all over Canada, companies introduced hiring freezes and furlough schemes took on a major role in pretty much every market.
It’s been a difficult time, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve seen a shift – things are changing and are slowly returning to ‘normal’ (whatever that may look like in 2021). People are ready to get back to work, and companies are ready to hire.
