The job market has changed a lot in the last 18 months as a direct result of COVID-19.
Millions of people lost their jobs all over the world, companies introduced hiring freezes and furlough schemes took on a major role in pretty much every market. It’s been a difficult time, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. We’ve seen a shift – things are changing and are slowly returning to normal. People are ready to get back to work, and companies are ready to hire.
We wanted to do something to help this process along, and get people back into jobs that they love.
We’d like to introduce you to The House Of Talent, a careers partnership between The Next Web and Jobbio, which is bolstered by thousands of incredible jobs in the tech space. The board is a practical solution to some of the biggest hiring challenges across Europe right now.
The goal? Ultimately, we want to see as many people as possible land the jobs of their dreams, and likewise, we want to see companies hire the best in the business. From posting a role to making an offer – every step can be done from one platform – all living on The Next Web. It’s that simple.
Speaking about the partnership, CEO of The Next Web, Myrthe van der Erve, said: “We are super excited to be teaming up with Jobbio to launch House of Talent. Our audience includes an extremely talented mix of developers, creatives, and future founders and I believe this new sub brand will be a great way to connect them with the top job opportunities, interview tips, insights from recruiters, and inspiration to get the most out of their career.”
Echoing Myrthe’s statement, Jobbio CEO Stephen Quinn said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be teaming up with The Next Web. The job market in Europe is one that’s a very interesting place right now, and it’s a story we’re excited to be a part of. I have no doubt that this partnership will allow talented people to seek out and land their dream job!”
