It’s safe to say we all need a bit of motivation today, right?
Here we are lads, another week of social distancing and working from home. I wish I could say that the whole thing is getting easier, and in many ways maybe it is, but it’s okay to admit that you’re kind of ‘over’ the whole thing. We all are.
We’re living in weird times, with a lot of anxiety and insecurity. So with that, I wanted to share a few nice quotes that may make you feel a little bit better as we head into another week.
This will all pass eventually, and things will be bright and lovely again! And we can’t wait!
“There is no royal road to anything. One thing at a time, all things in succession. That which grows fast, withers as rapidly. That which grows slowly, endures.” Josiah Gilbert Holland.
“When I hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?’” Sydney Harris.
“Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees all others.” Winston Churchill.
“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.” Amelia Earhart.
“The great thing in this world is not so much where you stand, as in what direction you are moving.” Oliver Wendell Holmes.
“The difference between a successful person and others is not lack of strength not a lack of knowledge but rather a lack of will.” Vince Lombardi.
“Some men see things as they are and say why – I dream things that never were and say why not.” George Bernard Shaw.
“I attribute my success to this: I never gave or took any excuse.” Florence Nightingale.
“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” John Lennon.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.” Mark Twain.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” Steve Jobs
Have a great week!
